Chapter 04: Tensions and Transitions

Chapter 05: Conflicts and Cruelty

• The Practical Training: Buhayyah starts her culinary training. However, the prestige of the school attracts the arrogant and entitled daughters of the royal/wealthy elite: Natashah Abbas, Mahirah Musaddam Wazir, and Nishat Badar Turaki.
• The Encounter: The "Princesses" arrive with an entourage of servants and an air of immense superiority. An accidental collision between Buhayyah and Mahirah leads to Mahirah slapping Buhayyah.
• Power Dynamics: Madam Nafisah Shamaki (the instructor) intervenes, showing authority over the arrogant girls and enforcing a strict code of conduct. However, despite the warning, the entitled girls continue to bully Buhayyah in the kitchen, making her time there intimidating.

• Buhayyah’s Resilience: Despite the physical and emotional abuse from the wealthy girls, Buhayyah remains humble and focused on her goal, fearing that losing this opportunity would ruin her mother's care and her own future.
