Conflict at the Doorstep

The tension escalates in the dead of night amidst the heavy downpour. Aysha’s mother (Mama) and Umma arrive at Innawo’s house in distress, banging on the door. When Innawo opens it, Umma aggressively demands to know the whereabouts of her granddaughter, accusing Aliyu of hiding or driving her away because he had interacted with her earlier.
