"Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un" (To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return). This was the phrase the young policewoman repeated. Signs indicated that she had fainted and been revived with water, as she was lying on the ground with her eyes closed and her face wet. Hearing someone trying to lift her, she opened her eyes to see Ammi, her father's younger sister.
She looked at Ammi’s face, which was swollen and red from heavy crying, to the point where her eyes were barely visible.
"Zarah, crying is not the solution right now. Come and pay your last respects so they can be taken to their resting place quickly," Ammi said in a cracked voice.
Zarah opened her mouth to speak, but the sorrow overwhelmed her, and she began to wail in a way that would break anyone's heart. Ammi took her hand, lifted her up, and led her to where the eight bodies lay on stretchers. Once they reached the spot, Ammi let go of her hand and stepped back, knowing Zarah needed a moment.
With trembling hands, Zarah began to uncover the faces of the bodies one by one. "My father, my mother, my three grandparents, my younger twin siblings, and my youngest sister. Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un," she cried out again, before calming herself, adjusting the shrouds, and raising her hands in prayer.
"Oh Lord, Oh Lord, Oh Lord. Oh Ever-Living, Oh Sustainer, Oh Allah, I thank You in every situation I find myself in. Oh Allah, You are my witness; I did not join the police force except to help fix my country. Oh Allah, You know I uphold Your laws and never disobey intentionally—only out of ignorance. Oh my Lord, I know You love these servants of Yours more than I do, which is why You reclaimed the trust You lent us. I accept this trial with open arms and continue to thank You.
Oh Allah, these servants of Yours are arriving before You; forgive them for the sins they know of and those they do not. Have mercy on them and protect them from the trials of the grave. Accept their martyrdom and grant them a place in Your Paradise. Oh Lord, You do not commit injustice, nor do You allow those who do to go unpunished. Oh Allah, I bring a complaint against everyone who had a hand in the death of these believers."
Even the men in the courtyard shed tears, marveling at Zarah’s courage. Without delay, the funeral prayers were performed, and the bodies were taken to their final resting place.

• The Antagonist (Alpha): A notorious terrorist leader who uses a coconut tree logo as his signature. He has been threatening the family to get his hands on the jewels, eventually escalating to murder when his demands were not met.
• The Supernatural Element: Zarah's character is linked to a strange encounter with an "Almajirah" (beggar) she met while she was still a student. The woman turned out to be a Jinn who gave Zarah cryptic warnings about her future challenges. This adds a supernatural/mystical thriller element to the police procedural plot.
• The Climax of the Introduction: The scene shifts to the day of the attack, where the perpetrators infiltrate the family home, hold everyone hostage, kill Shahid, and assault Nusaiba, all while trying to extract the location of the jewels from Zarah’s family.
