MAFIYA BOOK COMPELET BY MRS SADAUKI
Introduction
When we were children, the moment the word MAFIA was mentioned, my mind instantly conjured only one image: a blood-drinking secret society that magically grants immense wealth. But now that I am an adult and have found myself trapped inside it, I have come to realize that MAFIA actually means the ultimate fulfillment of one's worldly desires.
My name is HAROON. I am a young man of about thirty-eight years old. I am a paternal orphan and my mother’s favorite child. I grew up in the suffocating grip of poverty before eventually finding myself in the midst of unimaginable luxury...
“Haroon, your secretary told me that you aren't going out today. May I know why?” Ammy’s voice interrupted the brief internal reflection that I so often slipped into—sitting completely alone, narrating my own life story to myself.
I forced a smile, looking at the peace of my eyes and the great source of my pride. “I am just not feeling well, Ammy. That’s why. But don’t worry, it’s just a simple headache.”
“What do you mean, 'don't worry'?” Is a headache something you should dismiss as minor? Wait for me, I am coming right back,” she said, stepping away.
I watched her walk away with deep affection. That is my Ammy—a truly good mother in whose eyes I never seem to grow up; she treats me like a small child every single day. As I sat there waiting, she returned holding a bowl of water and a small towel. I closed my eyes as she dipped the towel into the water, wrung it out, and gently began pressing it against my head. By Allah’s grace, I felt the headache begin to ease. “Ammy, that’s enough. Please go and rest. I don't know when you will stop fussing over me like I’m a little baby who needs constant coddling,” I said, gently holding her hand that gripped the towel.
She playfully tapped my forehead in her usual scolding manner and said, “I will only stop the day you bring a wife into this house. Seriously, HAROON, when are you going to get married?”
I stood up abruptly, protesting, “Marriage! Marriage is all you talk about every single day, Ammy. How old am I anyway?”
“I just gave birth to you,” she replied, a maternal answer that made me burst into laughter.
Then I added, “Don’t worry, I will find you a daughter-in-law before the end of this year, by God's grace!” I uttered these words, instantly shocking myself at my own final statement. I had just spoken the name of my Creator—the supreme architect of my destiny—even though it had been at least five years since I completely turned my back on Him and cut ties with His divine commands. The very moment I uttered His name, I felt a burning, searing pain tear through my throat. My tongue felt as though it had been sliced open with a sharp razor.
“May Allah allow me to see that great day. May the Almighty spare my life, through the blessings of the Prophet of Mercy. O Lord, look upon my Haroon and grant him a wife who is a daughter of Paradise—one who will illuminate every dark corner of his house.” This was Ammy’s prayer for me. Unable to even whisper an "Amen," I turned around and walked away.
The moment I stepped out into the courtyard, my driver quickly stood up and headed toward the specific car I would be using today. He personally opened the back door for me, and I took my seat before he pulled out. He headed toward my main corporate office, but I quickly ordered him to stop. “Look, take me somewhere where I can just get some fresh air. I am completely not in the mood for work today,” I said. I spoke because I could feel a profound, inexplicable restlessness clouding my spirit today, accompanied by a violent, erratic pounding in my chest.
He drove smoothly, but my mind was completely detached from the road; I had drifted deep into a labyrinth of thoughts. Suddenly—screeech!—he slammed violently on the brakes. Only then did I snap back to reality and look ahead. I saw a beautiful young lady safely guiding school children across the street, while all the vehicles stopped in an orderly line, waiting for the children to finish crossing.
“I am sorry, boss. Let me take an alternative route,” the driver said.
“No! Wait,” I replied sharply. I kept my eyes entirely glued to her as she moved about with absolute modesty and grace inside her massive hijab, her hands, adorned with deep red henna, gently holding the hands of the children.
I closed my eyes in admiration as she folded both her hands together toward the drivers in a gesture of profound gratitude. I didn’t even realize we had moved from the spot until I heard my driver remarking, “If it weren’t for Teacher Zainab, those reckless drivers probably wouldn't have stopped; they would have insisted on forcing their way through.”
“Do you know her?” I found myself asking him.
He chuckled softly and said, “Well, who can claim they don't know Teacher Zainab? She is the young lady who wins the international Quranic recitation competition every single year. The government even built that school over there specifically for her, naming it in her honor. Boss, if you were to hear her students speaking Arabic, you would think they were raised in the heart of Saudi Arabia—and her own eloquence is on another level entirely. The sweetness of her voice is...”
“That's enough. Turn around and take me home,” I cut him off aggressively. I stopped him because the pounding of my heart was rapidly escalating to a dangerous pitch. The moment we arrived home, before the car could even come to a proper halt, I threw the door open and bolted out without waiting for him to open it for me.
Ammy was sitting in the living room and saw me rush inside in a state of utter disarray. She hurried toward me, frantically asking what was wrong, but I didn't give her an answer. I bounded up the stairs two steps at a time while she trailed behind me, desperately calling my name. The moment I reached my bedroom, I locked the door securely with the key. Leaning heavily against the door, I panted for breath before forcing my trembling legs to walk over to the sofa.
I sat down, staring intently at my reflection in the black mirror—the very object that had served as the catalyst for transforming my entire life from what it was to what it is today. In the physical realm, I am a complete, perfectly formed human being. But inside that mirror, there was absolutely nothing to see except a hollow, fleshless skeleton—because I had personally sold my soul to the MAFIA...

For the very first time in my life, a wave of bitter regret washed over me for joining the MAFIA. Throughout all the years I had spent inside it, I had lived in absolute bliss and material luxury. Tears of pure frustration slipped down my face as the horrific skeleton inside the mirror grinned mockingly back at me. That skeleton was none other than me; it was my shadow, or more accurately, the decaying state of my corrupted soul.
From the other side of the door, I could hear Ammy pounding frantically, crying out my name, but I was completely paralyzed and unable to stand. My heart had grown entirely too weak; I couldn't bear to stand before her and reveal that the promise I had just made to find a wife was fulfilled—yet the dark nature of my soul and the pure, radiant spirit of that beautiful young lady could never coexist under the same roof, because the time I had left to live on this earth was desperately short.
Suddenly, my phone began to ring. Checking the screen, I saw the name 'Boss'. I had no choice but to answer. “Come over immediately. We have an emergency meeting,” he barked before hanging up the phone line.
With a weak, trembling body, I stood up, walked into the bathroom, washed my face, dried it with a towel, and stepped out. Right at the threshold of the door, I met Ammy, her eyes completely bloodshot from crying. I forced a reassuring smile and said, “Please don’t worry yourself, Ammy. I will simply find another woman, since that one is entirely out of my league.”
“Who are you talking about?”
“The young lady I just saw when we went out. Look, Ammy, don't worry. I swear I will fulfill the promise I made to you.” The moment I finished speaking, I began walking away. She followed closely behind me until we descended to the ground floor, where she pressed, “Whose daughter is she that she could possibly be out of your league?”
“She is nobody famous; she is just a school teacher,” I replied.
“What is her name?”
I turned around so we were facing each other squarely, and answered, “I have to step out right now. When I return, we will discuss it.”
“May Allah protect you and bring you back to me safely.”
With great difficulty, I muttered, “Amen.” The moment I stepped outside, I took the car keys myself. Whenever a matter involved the Boss, I never allowed my driver to transport me. As I drove, my eyes could see nothing but her image illuminating my mind. With great effort, I managed to navigate the car to our usual secret meeting grounds.
The members had already begun to gather. I found a seat and sat down, exchanging brief, tense pleasantries with the other members. Once every single person had arrived, the entire room fell into a dead, suffocating silence. Only then did our Boss stand up to deliver his address.
“As you all know, our Association operates on a strict, unbreakable structure. We do not pry into the personal, supernatural secrets of individual members, which is why we do not always receive direct information regarding where certain outside spiritual disruptions originate. However, our defensive vanguard forces are working tirelessly to ensure that no rival organization or spiritual immigrants can launch an attack against us. Today, we have received urgent intelligence that a catastrophic spiritual event is fast approaching our organization. You are its children, and you know exactly how you conduct your lives. Therefore, compose yourselves and think deeply: is there anyone among you who has provoked a fight, or committed a fatal blunder that violates the core protocols of this organization?” As the Boss reached this point in his speech, his eyes began to inspect us, scanning each member one by one.
It never even crossed my mind that Teacher Zainab—for whom I was beginning to harbor intense feelings of love—could be the catastrophic problem the Boss was referring to. Consequently, I showed absolutely no signs of concern or anxiety. When the meeting concluded without anyone stepping forward to report a violation, the Boss dismissed everyone. But as I turned to leave, he called me back. He stared directly into the center of my eyes before saying, “HAROON, you have spent five years among us.”
“I am well aware of that, Boss,” I replied, failing to see the point of his sudden reminder.
“Yes, I am merely reminding you so you do not become complacent,” he said, intensifying a piercing gaze that was calculated to make anyone paranoid. I simply maintained my silence. After a moment, he said, “You may leave.” I nodded my head.
After exiting the compound, I drove directly to a recreational park. It was a serene place where parents brought their children to enjoy the fresh air and have fun. For the very first time in my life, I felt a deep, aching desire to have children of my own; the delightful way they played reminded me vividly of Teacher Zainab. I could see the outline of her face mirrored on the face of every single mother in the park, to the point where it felt as though she were right there, personally taking care of them. I lingered there for a long time before finally leaving, driving home while completely consumed by thoughts of her.
The moment I stepped through the front door of my house, I froze in absolute shock. There sat Teacher Zainab, sitting peacefully right next to Ammy. I shook my head in disbelief, laughing bitterly at myself internally, thinking, “HAROON, you have officially gone mad. Now you are hallucinating Teacher Zainab right inside your own home.” I turned away and took my very first step up the stairs when Ammy’s voice suddenly rang out, calling, “HAROON, come over here and greet the teacher who will be teaching me how to read and study.”
I turned around rapidly, and our eyes locked instantly, though she quickly averted her gaze out of modesty. I stood completely rooted to the spot like a statue, staring at her. She was dressed in a soft pink hijab, her palms exposed as she held a collection of books. Like a complete fool, the deep red henna staining her fingers captivated my attention so entirely that I didn't even realize I had walked over to where they were sitting on the sofa.
“Let me see the book you are going to start with,” I said, reaching out my hand to take the books. But the moment I drew near, a sudden, violently aggressive spiritual force—the nature of which I could not comprehend—struck my hand with such immense power that I was thrown backward, nearly crashing to the floor.
“Be careful! Teacher, please just hand it to me so I can give it to him,” Ammy said. She took the books from Zainab and extended them toward me. However, I was completely incapable of reaching out to take them due to a brilliant, blinding barrier of pure divine light that had manifested, forming an impassable wall between myself and the books. I shook my head in terror and said, “No, Ammy. I don’t need to see it.”
I turned toward the stairs and bolted upward with frantic speed. Rushing into my room, I slammed the door and locked it securely with the key, feeling ancient, long-forgotten knowledge from my religious past flooding back into my consciousness. Right there, standing in the center of my room, a horrifying realization dawned on me: I was living under the severe, absolute wrath of God—to the point where books containing the sacred words of His knowledge had openly revolted against me and were completely forbidden for a soul as defiled as mine to touch...

No matter how hard I tried to convince my heart that a pure woman like her was far out of reach for a shattered vessel like me, my heart completely revolted against me, absolutely refusing to compromise on its ultimate desire. It had chosen the love of Teacher Zainab. Even though my rational mind completely refused to support this infatuation, it did absolutely nothing to change the reality of my feelings.
With great effort, I dragged my heavy feet into the bathroom, stripped out of my clothes, stepped beneath the shower, and turned the faucet on completely. The water began to drench my body, its coldness penetrating the hair on my head, sending a slight, soothing wave of calmness down my spine. It had been so long since I last felt a genuine, deep-seated emotional desire for a woman that I had completely forgotten what it felt like. I could easily go two entire months without engaging in illicit intimacy with any woman, but today, my love for Teacher Zainab had stirred an intense, unyielding passion deep within my veins.
I turned off the shower faucet without even using soap, wrapped a towel around my waist, and stepped out into the bedroom, drying my hair with a smaller towel. Once I finished, I put on a set of casual clothes, sprayed my body heavily with perfume, and headed downstairs. When I reached the living room, I discovered that she had already departed; Ammy was sitting entirely alone in the living room, reviewing her textbook.
I forced a fake smile and said, “Good evening, my wonderful mother.”
She looked up, studying my face silently for a long moment before asking, “What is troubling you, HAROON? I assumed that seeing Teacher Zainab here would bring you peace of mind, but I am seeing the exact opposite on your face.”
I sat down close to her before asking, “How on earth did you manage to find her? Or did you already know her before today?”
“Well, who doesn't know Teacher Zainab in the entire city of Niamey? Of course I know her! I even visit the orphanage that she manages at the end of every single month.”
I let out a soft, genuine smile. Charitable work and helping the less fortunate was one of Ammy’s finest virtues. Every single orphanage organization in the city knew her well; she was a prominent figure throughout Niamey. Whenever there was an Islamic event, a conference for religious development, or community advancement, she was always sent an official invitation. But I had never, even for a split second, imagined that she knew Teacher Zainab personally.
“After you left today, I asked the driver about her, and he explained everything to me. That is how we ended up driving straight to where she was, and I personally requested the favor of her coming over to our home to tutor me,” Ammy explained, a warm smile illuminating her face.
She possessed a deep, profound love for religion, but she had never received formal education. Obtaining Islamic knowledge was one of her greatest lifelong dreams, but she had grown discouraged, believing that her advanced age had closed that door for her.
“Well, Ammy, you should definitely pursue your studies. What is her schedule? When will she be coming over?”
“Every day right after the Maghrib prayer, by God's grace. I will routinely send the driver to pick her up, and once she finishes the lesson, he will drive her back home.”
“But did her parents actually give their permission?”
“Oh, absolutely! I requested the favor right in their presence. In fact, her father felt it would almost be a sin before God to reject a sincere request from someone like me. Her parents are incredibly honorable people, just like she is,” she concluded, though her facial expression suddenly shifted into sadness.
I quickly grabbed her hand and pressed, “What is it now, Ammy? For the love of God, please do not think about him. Please do not forget that you made me a solemn promise regarding this matter.”
She nodded her head gently and said, “I am going inside. The Maghrib prayer is fast approaching, and I need to take a bath.” She stood up, and I watched her walk away until she disappeared into her quarters.
As I sat there alone, the housemaid brought out some light snacks for me. Without even glancing at her, I began to eat mechanically while my mind remained entirely captivated by the woman I loved. I took a quick sip of zobo drink before standing up, walking out to the courtyard, stepping into my car, and driving out of the compound once again.
I hadn't driven very far when the call to prayer began to echo through the city, but I paid it no mind. I continued driving until I reached an area where I believed I could find a woman to help clear my mind and satisfy my rising desire.
I pulled over right at a major traffic junction. Instantly, street beggars and young vulnerable girls began thrusting their plastic bowls toward my car windows, even though the tinted glass was rolled up completely. Most of them were young girls who couldn't be older than twenty to twenty-three years old. Seeing that I didn't roll down the glass, most of them walked away, except for one exceptionally persistent girl who refused to budge.
Only then did I lower the car window. Within five seconds, I thoroughly inspected her; she was naturally fair-skinned, but the thick layers of dust and grime on her skin had dulled her complexion. She had the distinct structural features of the nomadic Fulani people from the wilderness.
“Alhaji, please help me. I am desperately looking for money to take my mother to the hospital,” she pleaded, her voice trembling with desperation.
“What is your price?” I found myself asking bluntly. She simply stared at me blankly; it was painfully obvious that she was completely new to this dark world and didn't understand the transactional nature of the streets—the unspoken rule of 'nothing goes for nothing'.
“If you want me to give you money, you will have to get in the car and come with me,” I stated a second time. I watched pure terror manifest across her face. Slowly, I began to roll the window back up, but she quickly stopped me by placing her hand over the top of the glass, forcing me to lower it again.
“If I come with you, will you truly give me the money?” she threw the question at me with absolute, childlike innocence.
I simply nodded my head. Instantly, her face expanded into a wide smile. I unlocked the front passenger door for her, and the moment she climbed inside, I turned the ignition key. By now, darkness had completely enveloped the city, illuminated only by the harsh glow of the streetlights. I drove at an extreme speed, to the point where she began speaking to me in absolute terror, crying, “For the love of God, Alhaji, please have mercy on me! Please don't sell my organs or ritualize me!”
I hissed loudly under my breath and ignored her, but I reduced the speed of the car slightly, allowing her to let out a deep sigh of relief. I brought her straight to my private lodge—a secluded house where absolutely no one else lived; I hadn't even hired a security guard for the premises. I parked the car outside, and we both stepped out. I unlocked the front door and walked inside, but noticed she remained frozen at the threshold. “Come inside,” I commanded.
“No, I don’t need to come inside. Just bring the money out here and give it to me.” Out of sheer frustration, before she could finish her sentence, I violently grabbed her arm, dragged her inside the house, and slammed the door shut, locking it.
“If you dare scream or cry, I swear I will personally sell you off to rituals since that seems to be what you are so afraid of,” I barked, walking past her. Left with no choice, she followed submissively behind me into the living room. I flipped on every single light switch in the house, hardened my face, pointed toward the bathroom, and commanded, “Get in there and take a shower.”
Trembling violently, she stepped inside the bathroom. More than ten minutes passed, but she completely refused to come out. Growing impatient, I marched toward the bathroom and flung the door open. I froze instantly, slamming on my mental brakes as my heart began to pound violently—thud! thud! thud!
Sitting right there before my eyes was our Boss, dressed identically in the exact clothes of the young street girl I had just picked up in my car.
I frantically looked around the room, but the girl was completely gone; there was only him. In the blink of an eye, the illusion of the girl vanished completely, and the Boss returned to his normal male form. The girl's dirty clothes vanished from his body, replaced by his signature, blood-red ritualistic robes.
I was completely incapable of uttering a single word. I knew that if I attempted to lie to him, he would instantly read my mind and catch me. But what on earth can a mere man do against an entity possessing the terrifying supernatural power to shapeshift into any woman at will? Maintaining absolute silence was my only safe option.
He placed his heavy hand onto my shoulder, and I instantly felt an agonizing, electric shock—*bzzzt!*—course through my entire anatomy. In a flash, we vanished completely from the bathroom, teleporting directly into his dark supernatural realm—the terrifying kingdom where we routinely held high-level meetings or initiated new occult members. Before I could even process the shock of the teleportation, I felt my body being hurled violently through the air. Crash! My back smashed brutally against a solid stone wall, and my arms were forcefully pinned backward, bound tightly by glowing, supernatural occult chains.
“There is absolutely no room for genuine love in the protocols of our occult organization, yet you have openly broken our sacred law! I am going to give you two choices: either you personally sacrifice the young lady you love to our altar, or I will banish your soul to the Hidden World this very second—long before the legal expiration of your contracted years on earth.”
I squeezed my eyes shut in absolute agony. Neither of the two choices offered an easy way out. I had exactly five years left to live on this earth according to the blood covenant we signed on the day I sold my soul. I was granted exactly ten years of absolute wealth and life on this earth before my soul would be claimed for eternity; out of those ten years, I had spent five, leaving me with exactly five remaining. “Which choice am I going to make?” I asked myself deep within my terrified soul...

[16/11 à 09:04] MRS SADAUKI 💫: MAFIYA (03 & 04)
“So, the love you harbor for this girl is so deep that you are completely incapable of sacrificing her on the spot? You actually have to sit there and contemplate? Hahaha! Ōgāfōr̃!” The Boss barked the final incantation in the secret language of sorcerers. Instantly, the tiled floor of the chamber split wide open, revealing a terrifying abyss of swirling red dust that groaned with a deafening roar, sounding like a massive heavy-duty construction trailer digging deep into the earth.
Suspended high in the air and chained securely against the stone wall, I watched the horrific supernatural event unfold beneath me. A subterranean world manifested right under the floorboards. In that exact moment, the occult chains binding my wrists snapped open on their own, and my body began to drift helplessly through the air, tossed around in the spiritual wind like a loose plastic bag.
The Boss began chanting complex occult mantras before decreeing, “Go to the Hidden World and undergo an exile of exactly three days. The moment you emerge from that realm, you will deliver your final choice to me.” The moment he closed his mouth, I felt a violent gravitational pull drag my body downward until I plunged deep into a long, bottomless pit that housed an entirely hidden empire.
The moment I entered the realm, the chaotic spiritual forces stabilized, and the abyss sealed shut above me. I exhaled a sharp breath as I felt the soles of my feet finally make solid contact with the ground.
I stared at a massive, pitch-black door standing directly ahead of me. I possessed absolute certainty that this gateway was the threshold that would introduce me to the true horrors of what is known as the Hidden World. I stood there completely paralyzed, staring at the door while trapped in a loop of terrifying thoughts that I knew would not save me from the night. Suddenly—creeech—the massive black door swung open entirely on its own.
I narrowed my eyes, waiting to see what terrifying entity would emerge from the darkness, but instead, an disembodied voice echoed through the space, saying, “Welcome to the Spiritual Realm.” I didn't offer a response, nor did I move an inch from where I stood.
Suddenly, I felt a pair of invisible hands grip both of my wrists tightly, forcefully dragging me forward. Even though I could not see the entities pulling me, I was forced to step forward. We walked through the black gateway, and the moment we crossed the threshold, the massive door slammed shut behind us with a heavy, definitive thud! Absolute darkness instantly enveloped the entire space. It was only then that I could faintly discern the dark shadows of the entities pulling me, thanks to a sinister red light radiating from their foreheads like a burning fire.
They continued to drag me deeper into the interior of the realm. We began descending a massive, spiraling flight of stone stairs, moving deeper and deeper into the bowels of the earth, until we finally emerged into the heart of the Hidden World. To my utter shock, this specific realm was brilliantly illuminated, glowing as brightly as the blinding sun of a mid-afternoon sky.
I began to inspect the crowds of entities moving past us. Some of them possessed perfectly normal human forms, while the rest were horrifying amalgams, bearing the heads and features of various wild animals.
Looking at the glowing red shadows of the entities that had escorted me inside, I asked internally, “Who on earth are these beings?”
“They are the Dōr̃ānī! They are the supreme guardians responsible for monitoring the entry and exit of every single soul in this continent. If anyone dares to pause or rest from their assigned labor for even a single second, these guardians will execute immediate, brutal punishment upon them,” the same disembodied voice from the gateway answered, manifesting closer to me.
I turned my gaze toward the source of the voice. This time, the entity was completely visible, but its features were so deeply grotesque and deformed that it was physically painful to look at it for more than a second.
“But are they human beings?” I inquired.
“In the entire expanse of this realm, there is not a single soul that possesses human consciousness except for you. Every single entity you see here that looks human is merely a human corpse wearing the cloak of a Jinn. In other words, the physical vessel belongs to a human, but the soul operating inside it is entirely a Jinn.”
“How on earth is such a thing possible?” I pressed, throwing another question at him.
“When humans sell their souls to the MAFIA, the exact moment the contract of their assigned years on earth expires, their bodies are immediately banished down into this realm. Their human souls are condemned to eternal, agonizing slavery, while their physical bodies are harvested by the Jinn, who use them as vessels to walk around.”
As the entity reached this point in his explanation, he fell silent, allowing his grotesque companion to take over and conclude, “A vast majority of the Jinn race desperately desire to experience life in the human realm, but they are forbidden from doing so because they cannot manifest in their true forms. Consequently, they established a blood covenant with the grand masters of human secret cults to systematically buy up human bodies.”
“What exactly do they do with the human bodies?” I asked with intense, frantic curiosity, my heart hammering violently against my ribs as I realized that this was the exact fate waiting for—
Part 2: Structural & Stylistic Description
This text belongs to the contemporary Littattafan Yaki da Aljanu / Tsoro (Hausa Occult-Horror and Supernatural Romance) genre, a highly popular subset of modern Hausa literature. Unlike traditional romance stories, this style blends dark fantasy, Islamic theology, and psychological horror.
1. Narrative Architecture & Viewpoint
The story is written in the First-Person Limited Perspective through the protagonist, Haroon. This choice heightens the horror element; the reader only discovers the supernatural elements as Haroon experiences them (e.g., the sudden transformation of the beggar girl into the Occult Boss). The prose alternates between:
- The Domestic/Maternal Space: Characterized by warm, soft dialogue with "Ammy," emphasizing traditional filial piety, cooking, and societal pressure to marry.
The Occult/Supernatural Space: Characterized by visceral, terrifying imagery (the black mirror, fleshless skeletons, blood covenants, and cosmic portals).
2. Linguistic Hybridity & Occult Coding
The linguistic landscape of the text shows how modern Hausa writers build speculative worlds:
- Islamic Religious Lexicon: The author heavily utilizes Islamic terms (In sha Allah, Alhamdulillahi, Qiyam al-Layl, Musabaqa, Shekarunsa sun ja) to establish a moral baseline. The horror is derived from Haroon's realization that his soul is barred from this sacred space (e.g., the divine light physically repelling him from touching Islamic literature).
- Invented Occult Incantations: The text utilizes fabricated words marked with specific linguistic accents (Ōgāfōr̃!, Dōr̃ānī!) to mimic ancient, esoteric languages used by sorcerers.
Regional Settings: The explicit mention of Yamai (Niamey, the capital of Niger Republic) establishes the story within the Francophone-Hausa cultural axis, though written in standard Hausa syntax.
Part 3: Analytical Breakdown
1. The Faustian Bargain & The Black Mirror Motif
The central theme of the text is a classic Faustian bargain—selling one's soul for material wealth ("I had personally sold my soul to the MAFIA").
- The author redefines the term "Mafia" from a standard criminal syndicate into a literal supernatural, inter-dimensional occult network fueled by blood sacrifices and Jinn pacts.
The Black Mirror (Baƙin Madubi) serves as the literal boundary between the physical illusion of wealth and the spiritual reality of decay. In the physical world, Haroon is a handsome, successful 38-year-old billionaire; in the mirror, he is already a rotting skeleton (ƙwarangwal), symbolizing that his humanity has already been consumed.
2. The Spiritual Conflict of Inter-Class Romance
The romantic tension is built on extreme spiritual polarization:
- The Protagonist (Haroon): A spiritually damned man who has compromised his soul, living under the absolute wrath of God (Fushin Allah).
- The Love Interest (Teacher Zainab): A hyper-pure, idealized Muslim woman who wins international Quranic competitions, runs orphanages, and wears a massive hijab.
The author visualizes this spiritual incompatibility through a physical manifestation: when Haroon tries to touch Zainab’s books, a literal wall of divine light (Haske yayi mini katanga) violently repels his hand. Her purity is an actual, physical hazard to his demonic alignment.
3. Cosmic Lore & Body Harvesting
In pages 3 and 4, the author introduces an elaborate metaphysical lore regarding the afterlife of occultists.
- The text breaks down a highly original system of body commerce between humans and Jinns. The human realm is an elite commodity market where corrupt elites trade their physical bodies in exchange for 10 years of absolute worldly luxury.
- The horror shifts from simple jumpscares to existential dread: Haroon realizes that upon his death in 5 years, his consciousness will be enslaved in a subterranean quarry, while a demonic entity will wear his face and live his life in the human world.
